Craig Wright (PLAYWRIGHT)

craigUpcoming productions, commissions and prizes: The Unseen at The Cherry Lane by the American Actor’s Company. Mistakes Were Made will premiere at the Magic Theater in the fall of 2009. He is currently writing a play for Hartford Stage and a musical for Playwrights Horizons. In November of 2009 he will travel to Texas to receive the 2009 Horton Foote Excellence in American Playwriting Award from Baylor University.

Recent productions: Lady at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, The Unseen at the Humana Festival at Actors Theatre of Louisville and Stages Rep in Houston. LADY, which was commissioned by and received its world premiere from Northlight Theatre, was also seen at Stages Rep, Asolo Rep and in Los Angeles. Grace premiered at Woolly Mammoth Theatre where it was nominated for the Helen Hayes Award for Outstanding New Play.

Lisa Denman (Director)

Lisa Denman previously directed The Unseen for the Dallas "Out of the Loop Festival" at the WaterTower Theatre. Her regional theatre work also includes God & Mammon at the Ensemble Studio Theatre's Octoberfest in 2005. She is a member of the faculty at Baylor University where her directing credits include Arcadia, As You Like It, and Annie Get Your Gun!  She has been a member of the Board of Directors of Dallas's acclaimed Second Thought Theatre since its inception.

Thomas Ward (Smash)

thomasThomas Ward is a member of Actors Equity and the Dramatists Guild of America. Regional credits include Hamlet, King John, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Guys and Dolls, Disguises, Relative Values, Arms and the Man, Julius Caesar, and The Merry Wives of Windsor (all at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival); The Merry Wives of Windsor (Nashville Shakespeare Festival); and Humble Boy (WaterTower Theatre).  He has worked at the Actors Theatre of Louisville, Georgia Shakespeare, and Theatre in the Square (Atlanta). His original plays Going with Jenny (co-written with Sherry Jo Ward) and Keeping Watch both received world premieres at Theatrical Outfit (Atlanta, GA). He is a recognized actor/combatant with the Society of American Fight Directors and holds the MFA in Acting from the Alabama Shakespeare Festival/University of Alabama Professional Actor Training Program.  

Steven Pounders (Wallace)

stevenSteven Pounders is a twenty year member of Actors Equity.  Credits include The Cherry Trees (Resonance Theatre Company, NYC) ; Defiance and Frozen (Theatre Three, Dallas);  Cabaret, Dinner With Friends, and Nocturne (WaterTower Theatre); Macbeth, The Day After the Fair, and Betrayal (Theatre Britain, Dallas) The Rivals, Loves Labours Lost, and Misalliance (PlayMakers Repertory Company). He has also worked with Casa Mañana, Contemporary Theatre of Dallas, Horton-by-the-Stream in upstate NY, and the Oklahoma Shakespeare Festival. He received his MFA in Acting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. 

Stan Denman (Valdez)

stanStan Denman (AEA)is a Texas-based director, playwright, and actor. A member of Actors Equity Association, he was last seen off-Broadway in the Drama Desk nominated 2006 revival Horton Foote's The Traveling Lady at Ensemble Studio Theatre. Regional theatre productions include Oleanna, As You Like It, The Tempest, The Immigrant and Othello starring Samuel L. Jackson. As a director, he has staged over 30 university and professional productions. His newest play Embracing will receive its world premiere at Florida Studio Theatre this summer. He holds a PhD in Theatre from the University of Pittsburgh. 

Sarah B. Brown (Scenic designer)

Sarah B Brown is a resident of New York City and an Artistic Member of the Resonance Ensemble. Originally from Houston, Texas, her university theatre design credits include By the Bog of Cats, Woman in Mind, and Flight. Her New York scenic designs include Caesar and Cleopatra, 23 Knives, and Sherlock Solo (all at Resonance Ensemble), Ghost on Fire (Oberon Ensemble) and Woyzeck (Counting Squares Theatre).

Travis Watson (LIGHTING DESIGNER)

Travis Watson is a member of the Illuminating Engineer Society of New York City and the International Association of Lighting Designers.  A native of Houston, he worked as project manager on several large theatrical lighting installations in Texas including the Glass Cactus at the Gaylord Texan Resorts and Conference Centers (Grapevine) and Lakewood Church (Houston). Travis is member of Second Thought Theatre Company in Dallas where he regularly designs and consults. He has worked with New York's zeroLUX Architectural Lighting Designer LLC since 2006 and recently earned an MFA in Architectural Lighting Design from the Parsons School of Design.

Carl Booker (costume designer)

Carl Booker holds a BFA in Design from Baylor University. His professional design credits include High School Musical, 101 Dalmatians (Waco Children's Theatre), Courtship (Horton-by-the-Stream), and The Wizard of Oz (Lake Whitney Arts). Among his university design credits are Bye Bye Birdie, Spinning Into Butter, Wonder of the World, and Cyclops. He is currently a graduate student in the Costume Technology program at The University of Texas, Austin.

Dustin Chaffin (sound designer)

Dustin M. Chaffin is a Masters Degree candidate in the Interdisciplinary/Integrated Digital Media MFA program at Arizona State University.  Among Dustin's university sound design credits are Hamlet, Museum and Picasso at the Lapin Agile.  He developed an interactive sound program for an immersive puzzle game in the Arts Media and Engineering department at ASU.  A musician and composer, his most recent projects include original music for new play at ASU.
